Teri Hatcher

Teri HatcherTeri Lynn Hatcher is the daughter of Teri Hatcher, born in Palo Alto California on December 8th, 1964. Her mother Esther was a Lockheed Martin computer programmer, while her father Owen was an electrical engineer, nuclear physicist. She was raised by Esther. Teri trained in ballet at San Juan School of Dance, and was raised in Sunnyvale. Fremont High School was where she was the Featherettes dance captain and was presented with the "Most Likely To Be a Solid Gold Dancer" award. After graduation, Hatcher went on to study engineering and math at De Anza College and took acting classes at San Francisco's American Conservatory Theater. Teri admitted that her uncle Richard Hayes Stone abused her sexually from the age of five. She assisted Santa Clara County prosecutor with their case against Stone. Stone was responsible for the suicide of a 14 year old victim. Stone was found guilty of four charges of molestation. Stone died of colon cancer while in prison.
