Tommy Lee-1-819x1024Thomas Lee Bass is a Greek-American musician, and a founding member of the heavy-metal band Motley Crue. As well as being the band's long-term drummer, Lee was the founder of the rap metal band Methods of Mayhem and has explored solo projects. Lee supports PETA and animal rights. Lee wrote Terry Prather, SeaWorld's president, in protest at Tilikum's treatment of Tilikum. Lee felt that the animal should be released . He also stated that SeaWorld will not permit it to happen because Tilikum is their primary donor of sperm. Lee expressed his displeasure at SeaWorld's sloppy and bizarre ways to obtain Tilikum fertile. Lee concluded that he wished to prevent any further tragedies involving trainers getting killed, because these tragedies had resulted from the whales' distaste for captiveization.
