Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor, an American screen and stage actress, best recognized for her roles in films on the film Ray Undercover Brother and on the television series The Mentalist. She holds a BA in African-American Studies and an MFA from the Tisch School of the Arts New York University. Aunjanue Ellis. Ellis is an American actor and producer. She is active in films theater and television. She began her career acting in the theatre and then went on to appear in many television series, mainstream and independent films. Her most well-known role was Miranda Shaw, a character who appeared on ABC's Quantico. The BET's epic show The Book of Negroes she played the role of Ariel. She did not only be praised by critics for her character, she did she also win a couple of awards and nominations. She started her career acting in 1995 when she played Ariel on the stage in The Tempest. Stage credits include Come and Gone Drowning Crow and Seeking the Genesis, a Broadway production of Joe Turner. The most recognizable part of her career is her role in the series Men of Honor as well as The Caveman's Valentine The Express & The Help. On television, her part in the ABC's crime drama High Incident is well known.
